Welcome to the forum! So you live in Canada but you wanna know the UK air dates? What series do you mean? There are no dates yet for series 3, and series 1 and 2 have already aired.

Speaking to Gareth David-Lloyd the other day...! Well, gibbering a little in his presence, he confirmed that the third series will not air before the 'Hub' convention in March - so we're looking end of March, beginning of April maybe?
Ooh, that's good news, thank you. I'm going away in February and would have felt sick missing it. Something to look forward in Spring 2009 then.

Lol. Aww! Thanks for the info, Wooley. Especially considering how difficult it must have been for you to remain coherent enough to hear it!

I wasn't really coherent!
Next time, I must remember to take my sanity and a dictaphone... Maybe some cards with sensible conversation cues on them...!?!?

1 hour of Torchwood out of your day really wouldn't hurt exams too much, would it?

Technically 1 hour a day should be fine, but knowing me I'll take the rest of the day off and decide to rewatch season 1 or something random!!!

Bought the new issue of SFX magazine today, which has a big article on the Doctor Who specials and an interview with Russell T Davies. In a different section of the magazine I noticed the following, which probably explains why we're still waiting for the date;
He (RTD) also divulged a bit about the Beeb's ambitious plan to air the new five-part Torchwood story simultaneously around the world. "It's the culmination of [BBC exec] Jane Tranter's plan to make simultaneously released international drama, which is really exciting, but you've got to get an awful lot of television stations to bow down to that, which is really, really hard - but worth trying for."
We know BBC America has announced they are airing it the same day, but this is the first time I've seen it in print that the BBC trying to do it everywhere! :big_grin:

That would be really good if they air it all at once, plus it will reduce risk of spoilers for international viewers!

I think it's too ambitious to attempt, which is why we still don't have an airdate.
Frankly, I wish they'd just set a date and let everyone else figure it out on their own. I can avoid spoilers! :derisive:

Well, SFX has it as summer. I would say its looking to be June with small but significant slots in SFX and Sci-Fi Now and it being the bulk of TWM.

From yesterday's event in Belfast it's being reported that GDL said CoE will be airing during 2nd week in June!
Is there anyone here who went to that event and can confirm this? :beg:
