View Full Version : Journey's end theories please!

Thought I'd start a new topic rather than use up all the space in the Stolen Earth thread with theorising for, and if any of us get it right spoiling!, the next ep.

So my lovely bloke has just reminded me about Donna and parallel universes going together like cheese and toast, so what if the doc does really regenerate, but it's all a universe created around Donna, therefore kill Donna - revert to 10 and everyone back in their rightful place. Possibly.

That is SOOOO true. I think that is definatly possible.

That is a well good idea! I hope you are right, that would be brilliant. I don't mind loosing a companion, just not David Tennant! Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was thinking along the lines that if the Cascade is a second out of time, in a time-pocket, maybe it doesn't really exist and there is still a normal time with everything right in it and when Davros is destroyed, it will all go back to normal???????

listen this to theory
The doctor half way through his regeneration is thrust out of the TARDIS so jack, rose and donna have to pilot the TARDIS to the hub, they plug the rift into the TARDIS then aims all the power from it at the daleks finally when they have destroyed the daleks they end up finding the doctor still regenerating and use the cascade to force him back, or they use it to regenerate the hand?

I know it's not a theory, but I absolutely loved Wilf and his paint gun on the Daleks! That was truly inspiring

Don't they keep hinting that Donna may die....? They did last ep and in the one just gone. Plus that person said she had something on her back....

i think the doctor won't have a new face or whatever and it has something to do with the hand in the jar

Yeah. Donna has a big part to play in the last ep. I mean I wouldn't like to see a companion die but.... I think her death (if there is one) will take everything back to how it should be. I mean how would the doc get the earth back to it's normal space? Something has to happen to correct that.

I don't think Donna will die. It's too easy. After all the hints and warnings and things going on basically stating she's gonna die, it's just too easy! There's no trick, no twist of the plot. If a companion dies, it'll be someone else. I'm sticking with Martha.

Do we think the Doctor will regenerate? Have they managed the unbelieveable? To keep on of the biggest secrets in TV history? Or will something happen to stop him from regenerating? I like The doctor11's theory. It sounds really plausible and sits well with some rumours/spoilers I've read.

Yes! Oh well done folks, THE HAND! of course, there has to be a resaon it's still there!

Wilf rocks, first a cricket bat and then a paint gun!

I vote Wilf for next companion!

i heard a rumour ages ago! that the doctor spilts in two :dontknow: dont know what to make of that really but maybe the regeneration goes wrong or something because i think the rumour was based on having two doctors hence the splitting, not to sure about this idea really i just dont want david tennant to leave!! i was litterally shouting noooooooooo!! and i was shaking lol

ElectroxGirl
29th June 2008, 14:27
I read that too. Something goes wrong in the regeneration and it all goes into the hand. The hand then becomes a second Doctor.

That's just too weird.

As far as a companion being killed I wonder who it might be. I like Donna a lot, but her death would make the most sense, unless they went with Rose. Of course Sarah Jane is in the most peril at this point so who knows.

Is Martha supposed to be in the radio special coming up? If so then they can't kill her, can they?

Do you mean the Torchwood radio special? I thought that was meant to be set near enough right after Exit Wounds and before DW. But I may have just made that up.

You might very well be right. I guess I assumed (not knowing) that the Torchwood radio special would pick up after the DW series run since it won't air till then, but I don't know.

Sarah Jane will not be killed! she is too much of a legend to be killed and she still has her series to do!

That makes a lot of sense. They wouldn't want it to be too obvious. :hmm: I'd rather not have any of them die.

My bets are on Rose or Donna...don't want any of them to die though.
Would like lots of twists and suprises though!

The most faithful companion. Who could it be? I'm starting to think it might be Martha...or Donna...or both.

My money is on Donna. But then the Doctor Will Break his Rule and go back in time to the alternate world where thier is two Donnas and grabs one out at brings her back to the present. I put this theary together from the pictures I saw on the net and spoilers I read. But We will soon find out.

'The most faithful companion'... noo, they can't kill K9!! ;)

I'm thinking it'll look like it's going to be Donna for most of the ep then Rose will die all shockingly instead.

I think Sarah Janes death is possible, unless they are doing another series of SJA.

Sorry if this is a spoiler, but for God's sake, it happened like 20 or 30 years ago; but in the Trial of a Timelord, it was revealed that somewhere between the Doctor's 10th or 11th regeneration, he becomes evil and this evil version of him is the one who goes back and causes trouble for himself in Trial of a Timelord. Could this tie in somehow?

I haven't seen that one yet. Ooh I hope they have tied into that. Anything that actually links the new series with the classic series is good in my opinion, it is supposed to be the same show after all!

The doctor11

Sarah Jane is doing SJA so she cant be killed, torchwood cant be killed because they have their series, so its either Rose,Martha or Donna
The "Evil regeneration" is between the 12 and the 13th regeneration, i know because ive just looked it up :) and then he would be go back to the sixth regeneration's trial to try and stitch him up(its gets confusing with the laws of time and relative time so i wouldnt go down the path! lol)

theres some really good points here

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/cult/a106045/s04e13-journeys-end.html

not really spoilers because nothings confirmed this week theres been no preview videos so everyone will be watching it for the first time on saturday  but just in case...

[spoiler:2s9vmmbb]The Doctor's extermination by the Dalek seemed to be a glancing blow, so could it really bring on a full regeneration? David Tennant has been seen filming the next Christmas special.

What is the significance of The Doctor's hand in jar that bubbles away in the Tardis? The one you may remember was cut off by the Sycorax. It's been very noticeable of late. There are strong rumours that it plays a part in keeping the tenth Doc with us.

If Sarah Jane was really going to be exterminated, then it was a bad idea of Blue Peter to show a clip of her from the next episode - alongside Mickey Smith! Could the self-proclaimed 'tin dog' be her saviour from the Dalek attack?

Is Harriet Jones really dead? We never saw her die and she seemed to be doing Davros a favour by coaxing The Doctor out into the open along with his nearest and dearest. Double agent perhaps? She could be the new Lytton - a character familiar to fans of 80s Who.

What or who is lurking inside the Supreme Dalek?

Who has Rose been communicating with back in her parallel world?

The Doctor's daughter Jenny is still lurking in outer space - could she make a return to save the day?

Will Russell T Davies wait until the specials before revealing the identity of the person who took The Master's ring in last season's finale?[/spoiler:2s9vmmbb]
