I posted this in the episode disscussion but no one has answered and I'm very curious about this

Was it just me or was this episode very simelar to the Doctor Who comic where the 10th doctor got stuck on earth when he stepped out of the Tardis and Rose got stuck in it?
The Doctor then went to Mickey to live with him, play football better than him and ruin his date by making Mickey's 'girlfriend' follow her dreams.
The Doctor also put his screwdriver with Mickey's toothbrush, and so on.
... it's called "The Lodger", it was in The Betrothal of Sontar graphic novel.

Can anyone explain this?! :dontknow:

Of course this isn't the first time DW has done that. Human Nature and The Family of Blood from season three were adapted by Phil Cornell from one of his own Doctor Who novels.

Funny enough I'm watching The Lodger at the moment. Love it, very funny. I would love to have The Doctor as a flatmate.
