Amazing series!! (And it was far better than the Dr Who End of Time.)

I really love how some series have the confidence to kill popular characters. I also liked how Jack had far more moral fibre than the spineless politicians in No 10. A difficult decission but it shows how Jack is a leader that doesn't ask of others that he isn't willing to accept. I really hope there is another season.

However, on day 5 once they realised they couldn't fight the aliens, why were we left focusing on the UK? I would love to have seen how the US handled rounding up their children while a US general called the shots in the UK.

I got the impression that every country made up their own story to tell their citizens so I would have liked to see these reported in news flashes. It would have rounded off the series to see how the media handled reporting the different reasons the children were being rounded up.

I completely agree. (:

I was very interested to see how the other countries in Europe, and indeed the USA, would take the news that the 4-5-6 had left.

Yeah it would have been interested, but they film torchwood in the UK, so unless they filmed it in the UK, pretending for it to be the US, it would have been difficult.

For sure they would have shown the 'american' flag. But Im glad its a UK show. Lets stay in UK.
