"Torchwood 1"- a mistake?

[spoiler:2y0c0tkj]in series 3, it was mentioned that Ianto worked for Torchwood 1. however, i thought Ianto worked for Torchwood 2, that is, Torchwood: London. According to Capt. Jack in the ep. 1 of s1, Torchwood 1 was the one in Scotland, Torchwood 2 was London, destroyed in the Battle of Canary-Warf, Torchwood 3, Cardiff and Torchwood 4 is somewhere lost in the future. RTD isn't big on making mistakes w/ continuity, so...any thoughts?[/spoiler:2y0c0tkj]

[spoiler:2f7dwnzf]Nope,Jack mentioned Torchwood 1 in London and that it was destroyed in the battle,and then he mentions Torchwood 2 which is in Glasgow with the strange man.
So,it is right that Ianto was in Torchwood 1.[/spoiler:2f7dwnzf]
