What did the 456 want to do with the kids anyway?

which was horrible! and suprised it hasnt been mentioned much, that was the darkest part for me just the whole scene where the truth came out about them being drugs to them made me shiver

Yes, an inexhaustible drug supply - that child attached to the one in the tank had been there for 44 years. If 11 were just a sample, imagine how far spread 32+ million would go.

Rather frightening.

I thought the concept was quite frightening but I didn't think they brought it across themselves very well. It was just sort of blurted out and the UNIT guy didn't exactly make it sound frightening when he clarified it. In my mind, it was a horrific thing. Using kids as drugs... it's such a horrible thought, but I don't think they made a big enough deal out of it in the show, so it wasn't as huge as it should've been.

I think it was a pretty good move to name them just "456" and to keep them hidden in the glas tank. That and the child drug thing made them really frightening (unlike cgi monsters like Abadon).
